I supported messaging, livestream production, and public communications for the advocacy movement around Bo's Law in Texas — work centered on the Jean family and the legislation carrying Botham Jean's name.

The job was to help the public conversation hold two things at once: the gravity of what the policy is for, and the people whose lives are at the heart of it.

The challenge

Legislative advocacy is technical, slow, and emotionally heavy. The communications had to honor the family, carry the weight of the policy, and stay clear and reachable across press moments, livestreams, and statewide audiences.
