I supported messaging, livestream production, and public communications for the advocacy movement around Bo's Law in Texas — work centered on the Jean family and the legislation carrying Botham Jean's name.
The job was to help the public conversation hold two things at once: the gravity of what the policy is for, and the people whose lives are at the heart of it.
The challenge
Legislative advocacy is technical, slow, and emotionally heavy. The communications had to honor the family, carry the weight of the policy, and stay clear and reachable across press moments, livestreams, and statewide audiences.
"Public messaging that holds the weight — without losing the people."
The approach
Brand and public messaging built to travel across press conferences, livestreams, and digital storytelling, plus production support designed to put the family's voice — and the policy itself — in front of the public with the care it deserved.
Outcome
Coordinated communications and live moments that supported statewide visibility for the work, and a public-facing voice durable enough to outlast any one legislative cycle.
